Seller Terms and Conditions

These Seller Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the rights and obligations between the registered sellers (“Seller”, “You”) and SHOPOM.IN, a fashion marketplace operated by MA STAR CONSULTANCY PRIVATE LIMITED. By registering as a seller and listing products on our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.


1. Seller Eligibility

  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.
  • You must have a valid GSTIN, PAN, and an active bank account.
  • All sellers must complete KYC and documentation as required by SHOPOM before listing products.

2. Product Listing and Compliance

  • Sellers must list only genuine and legally compliant fashion products.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the product descriptions, prices, stock, and images are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Listings must not include counterfeit, banned, infringing, or restricted items.
  • All listed products must comply with applicable laws, including consumer protection, labeling, and safety standards.

3. Order Fulfillment

  • Sellers are expected to process and dispatch orders within the defined timeline (usually 24–48 hours).
  • All packages must be securely packed and include correct shipping labels and invoices.
  • Delayed or non-fulfilled orders may result in penalties or account suspension.

4. Returns, Replacements, and Cancellations

  • Sellers must accept returns and provide replacements as per SHOPOM’s Return & Refund Policy.
  • In case of disputes or fraudulent claims, the decision of SHOPOM will be final after investigation.
  • Any reverse logistics costs may be deducted from seller payouts if the return is due to seller fault (wrong item, damaged, etc.).

5. Commission and Fees

  • SHOPOM will charge a commission fee on every successful order, as mutually agreed during onboarding.
  • Additional charges may apply for advertising, packaging, logistics, and payment gateway usage.
  • All applicable charges will be clearly detailed in the Seller Dashboard.

6. Payments

  • Payments will be made in accordance with the Seller Payment Policy.
  • It is the seller’s responsibility to ensure compliance with tax regulations, including TDS and GST.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

  • SHOPOM reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts in cases of:
    • Repeated order cancellations or customer complaints
    • Sale of counterfeit or banned products
    • Non-compliance with platform policies
  • Termination may result in withholding of pending payments until all dues are settled.

8. Confidentiality and Data Security

  • Sellers must protect customer data and shall not misuse, share, or sell any personal information.
  • Any breach of data privacy laws may result in legal action and permanent suspension.

9. Modifications

  • SHOPOM reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Sellers will be notified of changes through email or the Seller Panel.
  • Continued use of the platform post-modification indicates acceptance of the new terms.
