Seller Payment Policy

1. Overview

This Seller Payment Policy outlines the terms and procedures by which registered sellers on the SHOPOM.IN fashion marketplace receive payments. By selling on our platform, sellers agree to comply with the payment terms defined below.

2. Payment Schedule

  • Sellers will receive payments for completed and delivered orders on a weekly basis.
  • The payout cycle runs from Monday to Sunday, with disbursements typically initiated on the following Wednesday, excluding bank holidays.
  • Only orders marked as “Delivered” and past the return window period (typically 7 days) will be eligible for payment.

3. Payment Method

  • Payments are transferred via NEFT/IMPS/UPI to the seller’s registered bank account.
  • Sellers must ensure that their bank account details are accurate and updated in the Seller Dashboard.
  • SHOPOM is not responsible for failed transactions due to incorrect or outdated banking information.

4. Deductions and Charges

The following deductions may apply to the seller’s payout:

  • Platform Commission Fee (as agreed during onboarding)
  • Payment Gateway Charges
  • Returns and Refund Adjustments
  • Penalties for policy violations or cancellations

A detailed breakdown of deductions will be visible in the Seller Payment Statement on the Seller Panel.

5. Minimum Payout Threshold

  • A minimum net payable amount of ₹500 is required for payout.
  • If the amount is below the threshold, it will be rolled over to the next payment cycle.

6. Payment Disputes

  • Sellers must raise any payment-related disputes within 7 days of receiving the payment.
  • Disputes will be investigated and resolved within 5–7 business days.

7. Tax Compliance

  • All payments are subject to applicable TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) under Indian tax laws.
  • TDS certificates will be issued quarterly.
  • Sellers are responsible for their own GST filings and overall tax compliance.

8. Amendments

SHOPOM reserves the right to update or change this policy at any time. Sellers will be informed of significant updates through email or the Seller Dashboard.
